ELDEN RING
Single player Game 300+ lvl
In all games, pumping is an advantage, but what about that? Bonus single player at level 300+ ?? I left a call for help sign at level 700+ and have been waiting for over an hour.
Is it really impossible to make a system so that players of 300+ levels can see each other without a penalty ? Single player is sad

just set a password and find people
So I have to do it, in fact, like many others.
But imagine whether it is possible for one person to convey to everyone that they put the same password on the signs before the bosses "1" for a normal online game at high lvl.

Beyond 125 you are losing specialty in builds. Most people don't level that high, that is why you aren't seeing summons. You'll have to resort to password matchmaking or sheer luck to play with a character you've leveled beyond the general playerbase. I think a lot of pve players are going 150 in Elden Ring?

I stopped at 125 as I leveled my most played character in DS3 too high and had to start a new character to regain the pvp element.
I have a RL150 char and 125 and 120 and 100 and 93 and all of them get back to back invasions at first grace in NG.

Anybody who could stand to play this game past NG+1 is way more OCD than me, and I'm pretty OCD.
Normally, on average NG+ (with all great gloverworts and smithing stones 10) takes only 3 hours if you have already collected all the items and got all the achievements in the normal game and NG+1.
But now it's better not to force NG +, because there will certainly be add-ons, such as the painted word of Ariandel, in which there will also be great gloverwots and blacksmith stones. And you will lose them for every playthrough.
over 700? you need some sunlight and fresh air ..

i have the same issue bro, i like overlevelling but thankfully unsupervised pvp is trash in this game so im not really into it anyway, the coop is alright but youre better off finding a mate to avoid the soreseal-using 10 vig hosts
in case you didnt notice the multiplayer in this game left me with a sour taste so idm not having good matchmaking, i hope you find some mates tho

commenting on steam forums says the same about you...
Eah, it took three weeks of hard rocking. But what a thrill now) For comparison, in Diablo 2 99 lvl, or 80 in Linage 2 Interlude, takes much more effort ^^

Such tricks with the level and new characters are known to everyone. You can play great at level 150 125 or even at level 10 if you like it, but as I wrote this topic is not for you but for levels 300+
Because this problem is really annoying for all high level players. And it has a very simple solution, which will not affect you in any way.
Because of how stat-system works the meaning of a build is lost somewhere around rl 200 and is substituted with cosmetic choices. Because of that ppl stop leveling at some point.

The system that allowed for unbounded matchmaking was introduced in Code Vein, for example. I would personally love to see it in ER, it even allowed matching upwards more or less flawlessly. And it eliminates all the problems with phantom-scaling power.

But it is a very different system, so they decided to not go innovative in ER sadly.

It's really sad. Because if so, then, as in the third souls, the multiplayer and after it the online one will die in a year or two, and it will be possible to safely score on the game. Although the multiplayer potential after a couple of simple fixes can become huge

Emm? DS3 was active for 5+ years, but it had more attractive invasion system for a number of reasons.

In ER they still have a chance to fix it, but we shall see if they do.

This topic will not affect in any way and is not for those who like to pump characters up to level 125-150. In my opinion, these are generally transit passengers, copying builds and tactics from YouTube, playing for a week or two before scoring.
In such games, the main contribution to the development of online, the popularity of the game, is made by advanced players who specifically pump and bother. It is they who come up with new tactics, help others, write adequate content on video .. And it’s not fair to take away multiplayer from them because of an ill-conceived system of calling for high lvl. In the future, it will kill the entire multiplayer as it was in Dark Souls 3, and not at all due to a decrease in the number of players.
125-150 is the stopping point for most people because higher levels erases the need of selectively choosing what to spec in, meaning you encounter people with unholy amounts of FP casting spells nonstop while also being able to wield just about any other weapon of choice - at least that was my experience at RL 250. You can also see this when you invade and encounter hosts that clearly summoned their overleveled Jesus friends

i mean host and overlevelled friend probably just wanted to play a game together and invader just came in as a third weel, not their fault

Multiplayer ALWAYS has been popular at any levels. This is the main reason why you buy the game.

I mean technically if you can't beat something at level 700+ you need to git gud or don't dupe. Just start new and stop at level 150? Problem solved.
If you need multiplayer just to get help, it doesn't mean that someone can't kill someone at 700+. I need multiplayer to help kill bosses. Others need it for pvp..
- This is the same solution to the problem as blindfolding in front of a moving train instead of moving away..

Elden Ring is a single Player game with small Multiplayer Options. Most Dude buy it because its a nice single Player rpg.
another simple solution is just stop pumping levels
