I don't know if alt-tab is crashing your game, I alt-tab a lot when playing and don't have an issue when I do. On the other hand, the game randomly crashes a lot since the 1.04 patch. And I've heard a lot of the same about many others' game crashes since the 1.04 patch.

I havent had any issues alt tabbing, i have spotify open in the background and tab out to change the songs alot

Same here, i always play with the Wiki opened and i've never had a problem.

Exclusive Fullscreen mode while Alt Tabbing will definitely do a number on your gaming session. I play Fullscreen while using OBS and boy does it hate it when I click to my other screen to change one small thing. Borderless Windowed works as intended however but I play in HDR so Fullscreen it is for me.

Try verify game files. Ive started doing it before every session now. Ive had crashes when closing down the game its getting worse since last patch. Usual ones when summoned to a host or summoning a friend are still the worst ones
