The game only has the digital deluxe edition available now for $79.99. I cannot select a standard edition. Has the developer and publisher really forced a price hike by no longer offering a standard version?

Many re-sellers have base-game keys, with some even on sale for less than full price. All re-sellers listed there are authorized (keys supplied by Bandai Namco). The only downside to using 3rd-party sites is, that they sometimes don't have regional-pricing as good as Steam or any regional-pricing at all, depending on your region (mostly SA and SEA regions).
