ELDEN RING
They really need to increase the number of outfits you can Alter.....
Like removing the hair from Elden Crown,
Or removing the Mask part of Albrechts Hat,
Taking the metal armor off the Fire Monk robe (Would make a perfect pyromancer robe then.)
Or taking the Mask part off the Preceptor's Big Hat.
Adding shoes to Blue Silver Mail Skirt or Witches Skirt,

And so many others.

As well as being able to modify outfits to look more feminine, as there are barely any outfits in this game which are made for the female figure. You can't even get Marika's Dress or Crown....

I wholeheartedly agree on alteration for boss helmets to remove hair. Malenia looks good, but having just the helm would be nice too. Elden lord just looks silly on characters.
Would also be neat if you could alter the cosmetics of some weapons, like remove the blood tendrils from Rykards Blade, or the rust from the Living in Death foes equipment, or have weapons that deal innate Holy, Fire, etc. damage have a aura that shows it, like a cosmetic effect to show the Godslayer Greatsword on fire with black flames, or the Carian Knight Sword sparkling with magic.
I can get behind more alteration options, don't see any reason why not
I agree, wasted oportunity. The fact that you o ny remove the cape is lame, it would've been a neat feature and innovative of them customizing color or even what parts to keep in.

Agreed, some outfits would look entirely different with just a change of color.
Like making Fia's Dress White or Gold, or Ranni's Witch outfit Black or Red.
Agreed. I think this is one part of the game where you can clearly see how unfinished the game is. No way they put this mechanic in game for these few lackluster options which all make your armor even worse.

Especially since in the alteration menu there are multiple slots which aren't used, but there clearly is space for more.

I shall keep my fingers crossed they will expand things in the future with a patch, or with the DLC.
I'd really like the Malenia helm to be alterable, take off the hair on the back.

I hope so too. There's a lot to do like giving Torrent armor to increase the health and being able to resist more instead of getting knocked. Perhaps with this new function "Ash of War" being able to destroy a legendary weapon to get the ash of war and use it in other weapons. I personally like Blaidd weapon art, but I don't like the weapon itself because it requieres STR/INT which it limits my ideas for a build. Plenty to do, I don't know why they dont have this creativity. :lunar2020thinkingtiger:
i'd disagree big time with the notion that there are no armor pieces designed for females, that's simply not true.

that being said, i wish there were several more ways to alter armor, helms and even leggings and gloves.
i like Radahn's helm, but the fact it has no visor really irks me, and causes me not to favor it.

the fact all the "best" armor in the game looks bloody ridiculous is another thing that annoys me. should be able to get armor that looks good and also happens to be good

like maliketh's armor set looks amazing, but the stats are pretty bad even for its weight class, meanwhile Lionel's and Bullgoat's armor sets looks ridiculous and sports some of thee best stats in the entire game.

Fashion gets you bad stats, looking like a clown gets you great stats, I usually prefer to look like a clown.

well i've found a way to look pretty swagger while sporting decent stats.

maliketh's armor, night cavalry helm, lionel's greaves and gauntlets.
just irks me that i could have upwards of 100 poise, but in order to not look like a clown i must sacrifice 41 points of poise.

So far the furthest sacrifice I've gone is 1 poise and 0.2 units of weight, wearing the jar helm instead of the crucible knight helm.
