Endings (Spoilers)

I want to discuss some of the endings

1.Order endings.

I have been through the Elden ring world and seen its state and the way i see it.... its dung its all garbage everything wants to kill you and is in a state of decay its a very pretty looking hell and I thought to myself is this what this effing alien parasitic tree has to offer? I mean i know probably before the shattering there was some good stuff in the world as long as you submitted to the greater will and where a good little slave and also not the wrong type of creature. in my view if the greater will and that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tree where truly the perfect order of things for this world then the shattering should have never happened, once it did and the world went to hell that is evidence to me that they are just full of dung and also lost the right to govern this world.

I find it insulting that the greater will seeks to use you as a pawn to once again exert its control over the lands between world after what it allowed it to become, in my view it lost its right to rule.

So that leads me to consider the 2 order endings as dung basically back to being good little slaves again to a power that is incompetent and is very likely feeding off of you and the world.

2. Curse ending.

This is an ending I don't necessarily consider bad, just think about it the world has gone to dung you have an alien parasitic lifeform controlling or trying to control the fates and the will of its people and the world.....so what do you do? you NUKE everything with a massive dirty bomb as a big FU, irradiate everything so said alien lifeform finds you so disgusting and poisonous it doesnt feed anymore from you or the world basically a scorched earth policy that is what the dung eater is trying to do.

Sure everyone will be smelly and hideously mutated but they would be free of friggin eldritch creatures trying to eat and control them, so considering the alternatives its not so bad ASSUMING IT WORKS.......


3.Frenzied flame ending.

Burn it all to the ground another scorched earth policy which might not sound so bad but you might still in the end be substituting the greater will for another eldritch creature that simply has a policy of anarchy rather than order.

4. Duskborn ending.

I dunno? everyone becomes a zombie? under the great will? garbage.

5. Age of the stars

Meh... Ranni is a nice tsundere waifu BUT some of what she says is kinda meh it seems to me that she wants......nothingness the void of the stars technically the denizens of the lands between would be free of the influence of the outer gods but at what cost?

"I would keep them far from the earth beneath our feet".
"As it is now, life, and souls, and order are bound tightly together, but I would have them at a great remove".
"And have the certainties of sight, emotion, faith, and touch"
"All become impossibilities".

So yeah.....I guess they all suck, discuss.

as with most fromsoft endings they feel rather rushed and no fun. it doesnt even make sense why melina wouldnt come after you in the dung eater ending but does in the frenzied flame one. id say the dung eater ending is a much worse fate compared to burning.. what are we burning anyway? a province, a countrty, the planet? even that is unclear cause we just get a screenshot that doesnt show the scope of destruction

edit: ok so looking at the wiki to refresh my memory, it does seem to mention the burning of the world, which is good right? everyone is corrupt or dead anyway by the time u finish the game. it will just make the ground fertile for new things to grow on once the flames fade ;p

We can only hope that something new and good will be born out of the fertilizer of a burned world, but I think the world would remain in a burned hellish state as opposed to a green hellish state it would be a world of anarchy ruled by the opposite of the greater will the outer god of the frenzied flame pretty much Satan as far as i know basically instead of order we would have anarchy which has its own drawbacks and benefits i guess but it would still overall suck.

Maybe, it would definitely be interesting for there to be some sort of timeline and connection for all the different souls worlds including demon souls and bloodbourne.

I feel like the proper ending for me was
Save Melina with the Frenzied flame clean it with the Miqeulla needle and use the rune of death like she wanted from the start.

Rannis ending to obtuse to know what is really going on....Plus she crazy look all the stuff she did cause she didn't want to be next inline for ruler. She no better then Marika

Is the greater will a bad guy ? Or Marika for messing with the ring.
Without knowing what Gideon found out about Marika we will never know who is the real bad guy unfortunately,

Isn't it an important factor that the tree is burned and the god is dead? I mean for the "order" endings? Aren't you deciding how the ruined heap of the lands between goes on now?

True ending is meet snek girl.
Make up own head canon that tarnished married her and they went to live somewhere else and ended their adventure.
Then you uninstall the game to deny every other ending forever
