I feel like this guy represents what pure caster builds should be. Sure, you can rush him down pretty easily, but if you let him start casting, he can seamlessly string together walls of spells from every discipline, all of them flying about and converging on you, maintaining pressure even up close.

Is it even mechanically possible to play a caster like this, with how the spell-swapping is? I'd love to see people start coming up with spell combos for PVP.

EDIT: Also why does he explode and do a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of damage when I hit him. Any way to avoid this or just tank it?

I wish we can hotkey spells to certain keys, but of course that's not possible for consoles.

Its a spell that you can get too. When he does that T-pose clockwise like spell, he activates it. When you get a few hits in, it explodes.
