Melina Theory Spoilers

I have a theory I want to share and want help debunking or building upon. My theory is Melina is the Daughter of Marika, Radagon and wait for it Rennala. Yes I am saying ranni is Melina sister or the same person.

My reasons for this is the mark that is on Ranni eye is in the opposite eye Melina has hers. Melina left eye in the frenzy flame end is the similar to ranni normal eyes. Radagon and Marika being the same person could have had a child with rennala. Rennala is the only one to have had a female child with Radagon that doesn't have red hair aka ranni. Which makes me think the fact Melina not having red hair like malenia odd if she is Radagon and Marika child. The next is how often Melina hair changes color what seems based on her mood and emotions . Throughout the game its been strawberry blonde, reddish brown, straight brown and during the frenzy flame ending it's nearly black. But never red or straight blonde. My theory is Melina has all 3 genes her magic powers which all of rennala children have has to do with her mood, hair and eyes. We yet to see and likely will in the dlc.

I think Melina was basically a bastard child raised by the black knife assassin's. When you fight morgott and summon her she has very similar moveset to the black knife assassins. I believe Melina was part of that day ranni talks about stealing the death rune. When you first meet Melina she is wearing the same hood and cloak the assassin's wore in the cutscene when ranni tells you about her stealing the death rune. Ironically when Melina gives you torrent it triggers ranni to give you the bell and states it belongs to torrent past owner. I believe the game wants you to believe torrent is a gift all tanished who are seeking elden ring get if worthy but if this was the case wouldn't torrent be more well known the only people who know of torrent is Melina and Ranni.

I think Melina has beastial servant and it is torrent. We find nothing like torrent in the game so I think he is Melina equivalent to Marika's Maliketh, ranni's blaidd and the first elden lords lion. In the game beasts is a very wide term as wise beast refered to turtles. So it's not unlikely that Torrent could be a beastial servant. So if true ranni knows Melina and I don't know if they know they are related but I believe in true ranni fashion when she says she stole the rune it was actually Melina who did the dirty work.

Very good video I do believe ranni is connected but I didn't know of the gloom eye queen. What is great about Melina and Ranni we don't know exactly we can only speculate. This video does break a few of my point but there are things that don't make sense like if she is the gloom eyed queen why does she not use black flame magic and why does she do golden order magic and have black knife assassin's moveset. she doesn't remember being the queen cause she not the hole rune. In anycase I do really want ranni and mel to be connected as well I kinda leaned on the multiple personality .....but then there is also ranni being the rune of the unborn thing ...which Radagon made but Radagon is also just a rune of order ...so who knows how he did that cause ranni is also and emprion.

Torrent is without a doubt an ancestor spirit, either younger or different but ya, that's totally what they are.

Maybe was companion of the god who was murdered. But we do see two bosses in game very similar to Torrent in ancestor spirits, mainly with the double jump and overall anatomy/respect or even worship of them by NPCs(stompy feet barbarians with the ancestors, Melina/Ranni with Torrent).

I totally dislike the idea that Marika and Radagon is the same person. Not happy with such a plot. It is just so naive and fantastical. I wanted something more solid as a plot.

It seems so, it is clear that they are one and the same at the end.

But it is not like some kind of reincarnation. Radagon is real mage but seems like was absorbed by Marika later. Before that he was clearly a husband of Rennala. We also know that Liurnia was in a fight with Marika's order, and it makes sense that Marika marries Radagon as this can be considered a dynasty marriage to try to appease two fractions by a marriage of their leaders.

But why Marika and Radagon blend ? That is too fantastical to me and unsatisfying plot

I wouldnt say without a doubt because ancestor spirits are very different. Ancestor spirits are massive dead male deer with flames inspired by Harry Potter patronus while torrent is a small goat horse inspired by Yakul from Princess Mononoke.
