no, they can't. katanas stagger better as well. its literally only specific types of mob where the occasional use of a colossal weapon might be better, like on stone golems.
for anything else, lul just katana weebo.
bruh i have sat here for 3 hours trying to make ANY colossal weapon work at even half the efficiency of even the worst katana (which is just the plain Uchigatana) and none of them could reach its bloody sockholders.
i don't know who that is, and i can say for sure he ain't making them work even half as well as katanas. i don't even need to see video evidence, this is just fact.

Those are like ng+ stuff and you need a lot of buffs to do it. The most i've seen in a normal playthrough is 2k dmg per jump attack.
It's NG+ apparently though.
bosses can be taken down easily by lvl 1 characters if you know what you're doing too. The point is it should be balanced around the average playerbase not the top 1% that already mastered the game.
