I mean I question the sanity of anybody who truly tries to see this as a multiplayer game, plus wow that's an insult to any actual multiplayer game be it PvP or co-op. But at least playing with friends this is easily avoided.

Invasions are anything goes and aren't the same as duels or arena combat. Duel signs still get ganked btw. They're not locked out if the host has summons. Yes, you are correct, invasions are anything goes. Including healing and ganking. There's no sense in complaining about it. If you want an invasion, you should expect that some people will use scummy tactics. Same goes for co-op.

People ganking duelists is actually a real problem and that sucks that it happens. Those people are actual scum. But regardless, my point is that dueling signs are *generally* for fair pvp. And invasions are for unfair pvp. If you invade, you shouldn't expect fair pvp.

As far as people emoting at you after ganking you... I mean they know they aren't good. They're just trying to make you mad. The fact that you are even sparing them a second thought means they are winning.

This is the result of From's continuous changes to PVP. Ds1 was a nightmare world of twinks and they've been trying to remedy that issue ever since by making life harder and harder for invaders. Unfortunately this just means that casual invaders stop invading, leaving only hard core "no fun" types who abuse every meta to one shot the host before they get dog
piled. And, as a result, hosts view invaders as jerks and bullies who need to be beaten up.

If we get another game with this kind of PVP you can bet it will be slanted even harder against invaders, causing ever greater escalation of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

to be fair if you want to make a twin playes life hard just alt f4 and restart the game, it litteraly is faster to relaunch the game and load back in then to connect/disconnect from someone in ds1

24/7 we got killed from being Ganked and few times to actual 1V1 during said invasions but 1v1ing a host is a very rare they rarely wins unless they use the most cheesiest tactic like one of those Bonfire Duelist who just going to chug all their estus. just return home if they doing the same thing in ER.

I never knew before reading these discussions here what a problem invasions are for some people. Now I know who to blame for ruining all my fun. FROM has been pandering to the anti invader sentiment with each subsequent release and now here we are, the worst iteration of the mechanic yet. Thanks, guys.

How can you claim to be so good and fail to realize that this is fully intended by design to fight against 2 or 3 people working together as a team to kill you? Does it have to be easy or in your favor? Sorry, but that expectation makes you bad.

Crying and whining on forums because the invasions you're instigating aren't perfectly suited and tailored to your needs only makes you look like a sad fool and I feel bad for you.
