Blaidde not howling at mistwood ruins

My progressions:
Caelid No progress
Only killed the dragon at academy
Did all the main quest until loretta
didn't kill any other side boss except the guy that drop Assasin crimson dagger

Just by killing one (side) boss it can trigger his quest to advance further so the scene at the ruins won't happen anymore, it doesn't happen 100% but I've read and experienced myself this issue. Also, don't aggro the bear sleeping under the tower Blaid is standing.

does that mean you killed her? or stopped before killing her? it is possible to skip the beginning of blaidd's quest and you meet him when you speak to ranni, but i'm not sure exactly what the trigger is for the skip

Did you get to Caria manor and talked to an NPC that is there without meeting Blaidd in Mistwood Ruins?

I just talked to ranni and i was tasked to talk to her 3 companion the giant, the half wolf and the mage i talked all the three and blaidd said he'll wait at the mistwood ruins and after exhausting all his dialogue i went straight to the ruins and there's no howl or anything I keep coming back and reloading the game and talking to santa and still no dialogue to give me the snap gesture

he's in the underground area that you access from mistwood ruins, you need to take the elevator, at this point you skipped the part of the quest where you needed to snap at him

yes im done with the manor and already met and talked to ranni

Oh you progressed pass that point. Now he is waiting below the Siofra river

yep that's right, it's a pretty big area down there so dont worry if you dont find him right away

lol... pretty soon he will tell you to meet him somewhere and he goes to a completely different place. He is a hard one to track.

Did you use the Grand Lift of Dectus as that might move him.
