There is a lot of lot that is hidden underneath or behind breakable objects, such as underneath the barrels and wood in the tents in some of the outdoor camps.
Try looking more carefully, it sounds like you missed many, many things! Loot is the little white beam of light that shoots up, you press the Y button to pick it up, not sure if you knew that.
I mean, how would "coins" be any less arbitrary than runes? What are you "buying"? Why would some magical undead troll blacksmith care about coins?
I'm not sure what you mean, I'm not familiar with the "avery poosible level" - is that where Ranni hangs out lol? I'm kidding - they are not trying to break immersion, you are just confused and lashing out. It's okay, some games are too hard for some people, maybe you can find a different game better suited to your ability to figure things out
Good luck!
Confused by this.....i find plants i can pick up, animal parts, and then chests containimg equipment.....i have literally found nothing in or under the breakable furniture.
And yes the immersion at every level bit is me being annoyed at things like this or the white words of trolls on every surface....i can be overly dramatic.
FS makes a point to not actually hide stuff in a way under other stuff that it cannot be seen at all (there are very few exceptions). This means that yes, there are some items in the tents in the various camps, and you might overlook them because of barrels etc. in those tents. However, the items are still visible before you break anything.
On your OP: Many games have containers full of random loot. That is a common design choice. To want that is ok, but won't happen in a FS game (at least for the last 10+ years). There are only dedicated chests. So basically you don't have to worry if you didn't roll through all the clutter. You do it for fun.
i HATED the other dark souls game where you had to smash every single box to see if there was some item hidden under or behind it.
so glad they reduced that in here by like 95%
Fast travel to the Liurnia Lake shore site of Grace. Go south from there to an encampment with some soldiers. There are several tents in this camp. The tent on the western side is covered by wood and barrels; if you smash these and go under there is a body with something like a Smoldering Butterfly

The real "problem" is not that this loot doesn't exist - it's just never important stuff, or stuff that sounds like it's used by you, so you just don't remember those moments in such a huge game.
Friend - for me it's a ton of fun to explore and clear everything, and it's not all the same.
If you ask yourself "what is the point?" - then maybe you just don't like this game.
I'm confused by this sentiment - even if you wished that random loot popped out of barrels and chairs and stuff, you must admit that there is plenty of loot just placed in the world, such as in the ruins and castles...
Like, does Radagon's Soreseal not "count" as loot since it's found on a body, and was never contained in a treasure chest or barrel or some other wood-based container? lol
I dun know how else to say it. If i see a big old broken building i want to go look and see if i find stuff. Hunt for some treasure But in this game should you actually go to a ruin and smash everything you just find nothing. If anything is there you dont have to find it as everything has a glowing blue marker and nothing is actually hidden they are right out there for you to just grab.
It just feels like a slasher fighter game in this respect. Just poking around to find things to kill.
I expected an adventure not just to aimlessly wander and kill things to no purpose.
