What is and isn't safe to spawn in via CE itemgib?
Hi, I'm is making a new character, and want to spawn in fully upgraded gear and blast through the game to start doing jolly coop. Does anyone know what is and isn't safe to spawn in via itemgib? I want to spawn in fully upgraded weapons, incantations, rune consumables, golden seeds and sacred tears. Are these safe? In DS3, you could spawn in these safely, so I thinks ER should function by the same rules.

I would really like to know! Thanks in advance, and have a nice day everyone! :)

It's not safe according to ds3.
Just spawn in everything and post about it online as much as possible.

Nothing can go wrong

You should delete this before the invaders mass report you .

If you do choose to spawn in anything play offline or risk getting banned from online.

There's no reason to report this though? Do you know that you will get banned from online if you spawn in any of the items I listed?

CE creates items that are in the game, however I do think the anti cheat will notice suspisious behaviour, like for example an instant max level weapon, way too many runes from start etc. Also you can only use CE in offline mode, because using it online will definitly insta ban you. The anti cheat will pick up you using CE.

A much better idea would be having a mule save and give all items you need for the new character to a friend and then let him/her give it back to you. A mule savegame is a save file that owns every tradable item ingame and maybe alot of rune items.

However you can not trade a +10/+25 weapon, unless your character has a max leveled weapon. You can only trade items up to the max level you unlocked by yourself.

So back to a quick answer. Get a mule save file that has 100% legit farmed items. Then give the items you want to a friend and let them give it back to you. If you want I can provide such a legit save file.

Wrong, you can spawn in the items I listed in DS3 without issue. I know because I've done so for years without issues, while being online the entire time.

No I dont know for sure but this game has anti-cheat ...what you are doing is cheating common sense should tell you not to do it .

Thank you for your legitimate answer. So the issue isn't spawning in items, but ESEAC (or whatever it's called) picks up the CE engine and bans you for that?

I tried to trade items from my other characters to this one, and I couldn't give fully upgraded weapons, which was a pain. So I need to upgrade 1 item to the max, and then I can start trading fully upgraded gear?

The only reason why they removed the shadowbans for item injections in the ds series was because they were to lazy to fix it properly, to prevent the servers being dead by their own failures.. they just removed the EULA line saying you will get banned by injecting or picking up hacked items.

Thats not the case with Elden Ring since they yet again used the lazy way and just slapped EAC on it. Which will definately ban you if you try something like that.

You can however try what Solaire wrote. Thats the usual duping method just without savescumming.

Yes the character that you make needs to have at least 1 max level item made by himself. But what I always do is give runes/gear/weapons/items I want for a new game to my new made character. All non leveled ofcourse. Than instant use the dropped runes to go to level 150 and farm all the seeds/smithing stones/etc myself. You will still blast through the game this way.

For a good mule save check out my guide https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2789996107

Hope it helps.

its relatively easy to get to +9 somber on a new character, the hardest stone to get is the +7 one (teleport to manor in the abductor virgin and do a skip jump on the bridge)
getting ancients is all gated as far as i know
Rule of thumb - anything, that has sensible stats and dorsn't go out of boundaries, like armor with + stats, is alright.
