Is there a Upgrade to Lightning Spear?

I thought it was Ancient Dragon's Lightning Spear when I got it.......but oddly instead of throwing it at a enemy you just hurl it into the ground........which seems rather inane, then got Lanissax's (think that's his name) Double Lightning Spear, but you throw those at the ground too......

So where do you get the upgraded form of Lightning Spear that you actually throw at the enemy?

No upgraded version unfortunately, they wanted to make the higher tiered spells "unique" instead. It sucks since there's a red lightning aerial castable (i think) weapon art with Bolt of Gransax but it's a WA and the weapon is kinda mediocre. While not electric elemental,

Frenzied Burst would basically be an upgraded version, has longer range and pierces while still retaining a bit of aoe.

Those two and G Flame are the top offensive incants.

I really wish Bolt of Gransaxx was available as a spell, standard lightning spear is good and all but I want one that gets boosted with my gravel seal. It's not like it would be the only ash of war that has a standalone spell.

Maybe in the dlc they may add better lightning spells

Yes but for some reason, it is an ash of war exclusive for the Bolt of Gransax...
