Its been the most terrible laziest implementation of anti-cheating since it was first implemented... pretty sure since... honestly i forget.. When was EAC introduced? I feel like i recall this being an issue as far back as ds1.
I really hope FS will remove it because from what I've seen, it doesn't help against hackers or whatever and it messes up the performance for some people.
It doesnt even protect against cheat engine. I can think of many low budget games that protect against cheat engine. >.<
