Question about weapon upgrades???
Okay I just don't get it. I write here so I cannot waste smithing stones.
If you guys can help me I'll be really grateful!
Lets say I upgrade one non-special(no somber stone) weapon to +10. I put "seppuku" on it from the "ashes of war" tab. So now it is a blood weapon. So now it upgrades as a blood weapon? But what if I remove the "seppuku"? Does it goes back to +10 normal or all upgrades are lost? If i put "blood" ash of war upgrade back on it then will it return to "blood+25" or all upgrades I've invested are lost again?

You cannot "de-upgrade" a weapon. Remove ash of war only return it back to the original skill. The smithing stone upgrade remains
+10 weapons will always stay +10 unless you choose to upgrade it to +11 or higher

Okay thank you! But what about the blood upgrade for example? If I've upgraded the weapon as bloody one? If i remove the ash, change it or put it back on? Will the points I've invested as a blood weapon be lost?
You means the ash of war? Nah. You can put it to other weapon, it's like wearing a sticker to your weapon, take it off and put it on another weapon how many time you wish

If you applied ash of war to a weapon then upgraded it to +10. Remove the ash then your weapon become normal +10

Upgrades will be maintained and are only associated with the weapon. The ash of war scales with its relative stat, however there are "items" that allow you to change what those ashes of war make the weapon scale with

You cannot put ashes on unique weapons tho. Also no, it will lose the infusion if it loses ash

What about when you change ashes on a weapon and even though the strengthen armament number stays the same, ex., +5 the base stats go down?

The stats go down is because the weapon adjust accordingly to scale change of the weapon. When you choose heavy, the scale for Strength goes up but other scale lost. When you choose holy, the scale added Faith and add holy damage but lower the base damage.... ect.

The weapon upgrade stays as is, removing ash of war and affinities will not revert the upgrades.

You can change the infusion of a weapon at any time. Weapon upgrades are not tied to infusion type.
