How do you personally keep track of quests?
Just curious how everyone personally keeps track of quests. This is my first souls game and no im not asking for a quest tracker or quest markers, just asking how everyone does it. I find myself missing a lot of follow up quests from quest givers because im so drawn in with the world and exploring that I personally have missed a lot of the side quests. Anyway appreciate any feedback or ideas and thanks again.

No use in lying. I personally play these games for the immersion. I make the story up in my skull. Side quests are for items. For me.
I just try to remember. But I would like a kind of journal.
The wiki if I'm not sure if I missed something.
Had to use the wiki or videos to know what is the next step.
My first playthrough I just play blind and explore. When I beat the game, I look up everything I missed. :praisesun:
Learning curve since release:

-Confusion = explore.
-If quest gives direction, pin it with a map icon for now or later.
-If you can not ever find anything = next phase is entirely somewhere else far out there.
^^^ Options over cheesing with guides.
I just play the game blind and remember what clues im given for quests. Though at least from what I found there really arent many quests at all. I think total theres like 20 sidequests.
i managed to blindly do boc and blaidd's limgrave part of the quests but when i learned 4 out of 6 endings were tied to quests and even a boss i started using the wiki

I just try to remember stuff or add it to my many stickers of notes I keep on my desk. At some point I had like a row of 4-5 stickers lined up, all filled with notes.

We're so used to having everything already done for us now with quest markers and all, sometimes writing stuff down with a good old pen & paper just feels great and adds a layer of immersion to this journey we're going through! :praisesun:

Well, for the first time at least, afterwards the wikia becomes my bible lol.
Some good tips to be sure and thanks for that. I am thankful there is a NG+ feature so I can grab up what I missed the first time. I think I killed patched haha and there is a quest line for two different types of talismans im curious if I even started that questline. I am aweful at organization as you can see.

I believe in you. :shigure2:
Yeah NG+ is fantastic for mistake correction. Why I killed every npc in my first play. Got a lot of good stuff for it.
Sticky note of things to do in the world, whether it be follow up with an NPC, or finish exploring that one area.
Honestly as silly as it sounds treat em like people. Check in once in awhile with old friends you've made, pay attention to who they are and regions they hang around in, and say hey when ever you run into them out and about. It's fine if you miss a step or two or screw up a quest entirely, souls games aren't really defined by NPC interactions.

If you are an absolute completionist/suffer from typical MMO player syndromes, then check the wiki.
