How to properly dual wield?

I know how to equip a weapon in each hand. But I see videos of ppl attacking with both weapons at the same time. I cannot seem to replicate that... I tried with weapons of the same type, they always swing seperately. The claw weapons when 2handed, do work in dual wield style properly... but nothing else.

kb/m players arent the brightest sadly, they cant even figure out their own keybindings. best to just move on

The big things here are you need to meet the stat requirements of a weapon and then it has to be the same weapon type. IE; Katana/Katana, Curved Sword/Curved Sword, Mace/Mace. So on so forth. You can't do Straightsword/Dagger or Mace/Whip.

Honestly I think it's kind of lame that you can't DW two different weapon types like say Straight Sword and Dagger. There are a lot of weapon combos that would be brutal together even if just in sense of fashion.

I have never played a game that is designed for controller using KB+M.

also, not all dual wield attacks make both weapons attack at the "exact" same time in case you took that literally, often times its just a different attack motion involving both weapons
