How to properly dual wield?
I know how to equip a weapon in each hand. But I see videos of ppl attacking with both weapons at the same time. I cannot seem to replicate that... I tried with weapons of the same type, they always swing seperately. The claw weapons when 2handed, do work in dual wield style properly... but nothing else.

Make sure you've met the stat requirements.
Make sure they are the same weapon type (mentioned at the top of the weapon stat sheet).
With one in each hand, press L1 and it should work . . .

What weapons are you trying this with ?

L1... what is that for k&m? Seriously everyone assuming everyone is on a controller? PC gamers play with K&M.

The same button that is used for blocking.

L1 = left mouse = right hand light attack
L2 = shift left mouse = right hand strong attack
R1 = right mouse = left hand light attack
R2 = shift right mouse = left hand strong attack

Press the "block" button.

The block button does not make me attack with both weapons. Left click attacks with right weapon, right click attacks with left weapon. Both seperately. Which is the problem :)

Weapons only duel wield with one another when they are the exact same weapon category. Hammer must be with hammer.
Great sword must be with great, not colossal or curved. <<(Seperate categories.)

There are like 2-3 weapons that do not belong in the category that they are in, and that's just whatever.

I'm trying with curved swords, block does not work. I already told you I'm using the same type.

Block not working is either you do not get how it works, or you might be bugged, and it flat out does not exist for you?

-Do you press the left trigger LB when trying to block?
-Does the blocking button do anything for you at all? Both Mouse/keyboard, and controller?
-Have you checked your controller settings to make sure something is not off?

-When you lift for block in duel wield all it does is lift up your left handed weapon to block. Or the one you are holding in both hands.-

^^^ If you do not see that entirely you might be bugged. It is not meant to be a good block, or strong. YOU WILL take damage from blocking with a secondary weapon, and not a shield.

Quick note: there ARE exceptions to the rule. For example the Pickaxe, classified as a Great Hammer, will pair with Greataxes and NOT other Great Hammers.
