i can't even remember a single bar or melody from this game. it's devoid of any character.

Also, are you suggesting Godfrey's, Godricks, and Rennela's don't all have their own themes that fit perfectly for their zones?
Bloodborne's soundtrack is fantastic, however, Dark Souls 3 is probably the most uninspired of all Miyazaki games.
This is on par with everything in DS3. I really think this is a case of people focusing on the fight more than the music at this point, the OST is full of great tracks.

When I listen to the ER soundtracks, there's far too many quiet moments in said tracks that isn't helped by how aggressive the bosses are this time around. Rennala's fits because well, she's a sorcerer, not my personal cup of tea like with Friede's phase 1 theme, but it fits the mood.
