Almost all multiplayer items greyed out

I wanted to play some co-op today but I can't leave any summon signs. Every item in the multiplayer menu is greyed out except furlcalling finger remedy. I'm definitely playing online so that can't be the issue. Everything worked fine two days ago, I didn't play the game at all yesterday, and now that I try to get into co-op today, all of my multiplayer options are disabled.

Two days ago I was playing co-op and as we were fighting the boss of the dungeon, I got disconnected. Possibly because of latency caused by sudden drop in bandwidth. Is it possible to get accidentally banned by some automated system that sees such events as cheating, even if it isn't even PvP? My game has also crashed twice during the loading screen when entering co-op. Do those also count as attempts at cheating by the auto-ban? I don't recall seeing any message indicating a ban, nor does any menu state that my multiplayer should be disabled due to such things.

did you turn off the anti-cheat? if so, this is what happens. if not, try validating your files.

Okay, false alarm. Apparently multiplayer is disabled in dungeons that have special mechanics, and I never attempted to leave the place to test if MP works elsewhere. I was trying to use it in Auriza Side Tomb, which has a teleportation puzzle, which is incompatible with multiplayer.
