After patch, stuck at title screen. Says "checking saves" and the game is entirely frozen
Tried validating files. No issue there. Game starts, I hear the music, on upper right it says "checking save files" and just stays like that forever. Game is practically frozen its even hard to alt tab out or end task process. Any suggestions? I don't want to lose my game or save, 133 hours.

Thanks...so far now go. I don't even know if its saves. It just freezes after I press click play. Tried reinstalling and doing the whole verify integrity of files too...sigh

Sadly after this patch, the game has been fairly unplayable for me too. FPS drops are horrid. They definitely broke something.

You used any mods or disabled EAC?

No....

There's only one thing I did. And that was I asked on a forum if someone could get me a weapon, the magma blade. So we traded, I gave him a bunch of extras and what he had.

But that's it. The weapons weren't modded. But I wonder if maybe he duped them? Will that cause a problem?
