Drinking Physic/Mana Flasks isn't honorable
I thought this was simply common sense, but the amount of people I've seen point down after I drink 1 flask just after they pop physic and 3 mana flasks is hilariously high. Just joined a fight club and was about to kill a dude but he used his physic (with a HEAL over time) and after a few seconds I pop a flask and get instantly jumped by the other 2 watching once I do. Biggest eye roll I've ever done in my life, was absolutely stunned by how dumb these kinds of people are.

I've never heard of anyone being against FP flasks in souls pvp. Mixed physic is new, I could go either way but I'm inclined to say everyone should use them because they're cool.
"Yeah guys everyone should just use the + 300 free equip load flasks it's cool"

Yeah okay, some of them are kind of busted and you might not be able to tell which is being used. A 3 minute heal is excessive, too. At least everyone has access to the same stuff regardless of build, but I understand if the no-physic rule sticks around.

Play like the game teaches you when you do the volcano manor invasions do what every it takes to kill them and treat them as if they are doing the same.
We;re talking about duels, not invasions tho. o:

Dude, just acknowledge that "don't drink FP" is some bullcaca you just made up and has never been any kind of rule in souls pvp. From the point of view of most players, there's nothing wrong with blue flasks and you're a huge chump for chugging red when you get mad about it.

Id argue that mages drinking mana flasks is fine. Theres an incredibly high likelyhood that a mage will not be able to kill you with a single manabar. Infact, unless youre just bad, they wont be able to take you down by a quarter. Magic is crap in 1v1 :/

Agree with phys flasks tho.
I have never had to drink a mana flask on my mage build (RL 75) and I didn't spec a whole lot into mind. If you throw spells in between your attacks you'll quickly realize how much less you'd be spending that rather only using spells and never using your weapon. Well that and the fact the best spells require no fp and the ones that require tons of int do 0 dmg. One second I'm in a duel rn and am going to honorably pop a heal estus (i didn't spec enough into my hp to kill my opponent with a single health bar)
Bad take, Low Hp doesn't make a sword hit any weaker. Low FP? Well my pure caster in that regard is suddenly useless. You don't instantly die if you swing your sword 20 times in one dual, expecting mages to do so seems dumb to me

He did a heal over time which healed a lot more.. so can you explain how that is acceptable but what I did was wrong?
Ima be real, HoT isn't that big of a deal. I remember in DS3 I had a dude, full black iron set with a greatsword in hand one, and a holy caestus in hand 2. I could parry, AND I passively healed. I don't think thats ever been considered bad in PVP, so heal over time isn't instant rule break
Except the HoT there was a permanent passive on your equipment which is very minor, here it is a consumable that has much higher numbers i think like 30 hp a second? And this was around RL 20 with plus 0 weapons so it's not exactly 1 shot city here with estocs and claymores

Nice, I'm glad you understand my point.

"no you see I am allowed to drink in these fights because my build warrants it so, no I won't spec into it being viable I will only use spells and never use one of the thousand magic weapons, no i wont spec a few points into endurance to wear a medium weight set. It is honorable for me to drink!"

Yes and I'm fine with this, however if you are using physic/fp estus and pop a screw lose the moment I heal I think there is something wrong with you.

guarantee your weapon does more damage than the spells do :P thats all im saying. (RL 101 with a 62 int. Spells suck in 1v1 when they know how to dodge.)

Insanely moron comment. If I ask you to play soccer and you pick up my goal post and make it bigger and pick up yours and make it smaller, I'm calling you honorless and you turn around and say "bro its just a game!!!!" yeah youre a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot
Edit: Plus you're british

Sounds to me like you just want to fight against melee builds only, which is fair ig, if I could sort duels by class, I'd probably want to fight other melee builds too. Funny excuses tho

Iirc even in DS3 you needed a backup weapon as a caster, although DS3 also had the benefit of having weapon catalists
