question whats MGS?
Metal Gear Solid, the series is great. But Konami really did something great with Metal Gear Solid 3, that game is hard to put down once you pick it up. But it also has a hard learning curve lark Souls games

I think I am burning out on this game a bit as well. Played a couple of characters and went ng+ on one of them. Discovered all the map areas, only did 2 endings, but maybe I'll do the other side quests before I beat the game to unlock them next time I pick it up.

What makes you think there is anything else to do?

I feel the same way, but unlike you?
----) My Town has nothing to do in it, due to a President who's become a jack azs lately...

So all I got is Elden Ring, because all other Games are for like 3 Year old sht bags...

&

As much as I really wanna enjoy Elden Ring, i've got about 40 mins in Game, & am already getting bored of it, -_-

I want to like it, but am struggling to find anything likable about the Game...

Story is bare bones boring, map design, & npc placements are lacking in quality, & the world just feels dead, like im the only thing there in an empty void of nothingness, oO

I feel the same way as the OP...
----) New Character start didn't help me any better then my 1st character did... Actually, it only felt worst on the 2nd Character going forwards...

What keeps everyone else tied to this Game?
Besides the Combat, & NPC Artwork?

Make goals for your new character. I tend to focus all of my characters on pvp, so my goals involve "I want _____ weapons with _____ armor and _____ shield with ____ incantations/spells at level 30/40 to pvp at Stormveil castle. So, I collect those specific things and get to pvping. Then, when I get bored, I move to level 60 with new goals to do world pvp in Liurnia and the two caster castles.

This way you take the game in bite sized chunks. But, I have other reasons for getting bored and wanting to quit Elden Ring other than it being too big.

Dude has 365 hours in the game- more than 15 days of his life since release. And he’s on here saying he’s bored. 15 days of the 57 that it’s been out. bruh

I mean the average expected time most games offer is 20-30 hours, There is only so much one can do in a game like elden ring its combat or combat or combat lol

Beating all the endings and 100%ing the game are the only long term goals here.

should of made a new character after beating the game the first time. The game will be easier and there's much less to do in new game because you already built the character and building the character is most of the fun.
Next you use the character for pvp.
Start a new character build it different, beat the game and you have 2 characters to use for pvp.
Build another character thats different, beat the game and you have 3 characters for pvp. Thats Dark Souls, thats how you play these games.

If you have 3 characters for pvp, use 1 for pvp until it gets boring, then switch to the other and you know what to do.
If thats boring, build helper builds for low level help through areas and bosses. There's lots to do in these games.

If only it was that easy... To setup small goals to keep us interested... I've already been doing that...

People seem to forget that within 24 hrs of a day, 1 can achieve a lot with the right mind set, & still fit sleep in their schedules...

Try facing away from the screen while looking at the screen over your shoulder in a mirror for the next playthrough...
