Sellen's Quest - How the heck do you figure out that you need to go to...
The Three Sisters? What was the clue here? According to Fextralife after exhausting dialogue you go to three sisters.

I just found the Witch Hunter guy in Sellen's dungeon, how was I supposed to piece this together that I need to go to Three Sisters to have something to do with her body? I'm in the state of limbo where I want to have a fresh experience on my second playthrough and at the same time reading fextralife because figuring out Ranni's quest the first time went swimmingly lol.

But seriously tho, is there a clue that I missed?

Such is questing n FromSoftware games. It really is insane how they expect you to find areas and quests without using a guide like fextra eldenring guide

You mean Seluvis' rape puppet dungeon? Yeah I had to look that up, though I had a couple friends actually run into it by chance. I guess the random Noble Sorcerer guy defending it slightly gives it away, as in you *may* accidentally hit the false floor while killing him. But that was a pretty well hidden spot for me at least.

I found this one organically, but only just.

A merchant note pointed me to the (thing watermelons spoilered) and a player note made me find the secret door (that's the bit i almost missed). Once i saw her the penny dropped and i got it right from there.

Ranni and Dung Eater were the only quests I finished I think. Actually, Volcano Manor too. Luckily I ran into that puppet dude by accident lol
edit: wait I guess that was Seluvis' quest. Well I think I wound up wrecking his in the end cos he was dead when i went to see him lol

Same deal with Lusat's hideaway, there was a battlemage in front of a tombstone and just a few meters behind it is the illusory wall. I wouldn't have thought of it if not for the player message lol.

I grew accustomed to looking for the underground room in the ruins on the map, that when I got to three sisters I was like, OH theres the fake floor. Went in was like weird room, proceeded to roll at walls that weren't covered. Saw her body and was like, so now there are 3. Guess it was a conditioning sorta thing for me.

I love the lore and the questlines, I used to struggle a lot in the previous games figuring out stuff by myself, but in ER I just gave up, if I have doubts or really want to do a NPC's quest I straight up google it.

In Fromsoftware games, after you know about the quests' steps and its endings, everything generally make sense in a holistic way, but trying to figure it out by yourself in the first time is too freaking hard sometimes.

About the clue, Selluvis and Sellen have a connection, you know this if you do Ranni's quest. Then, if you find his "degeneration basement" you'll find the body for Sellen and will know what to do when you get her heart. I knew about the basement by reading a merchant note, but the noble mage defending it and the shape of the ground give a hint too.

well if u do rannis quest she talks about how she would rather never even think about seluvis again... so it mite be worth investigation.

either way, its a side quest. its ok for there to be secrets.
