Godfrey is the most annoying boss in this entire game.

Not even Malenia is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. All Godfrey does is stomp around the arena like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ toddler. Whoever at FromSoft put their 4 year old into the game as a boss needs to be fired.

Also what is the point of having multiple stomp attacks if two of them literally do the exact same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing. One of them he winds up for the stomp, and the attack effects the entire arena. Makes sense right? He winds up for a good like 5 or so seconds, makes sense it'd be powerful. Then there's a stomp attack that he can have in a combo and it's 20x faster and STILL effects the entire arena.

What are you all smoking, because I'd like to try some.

Edit: I have since beaten Godfrey. I eventually had a run where he didn't stomp the whole damn time. All you brain dead troglodytes that keep saying "git gud" can shut up now. Maybe touch some grass and get some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you absolute degenerates. I'd rather polish dog crap at a park than listen to you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ morons any longer.

I’m level 297 with 99 vigor, 53 endurance, 65 strength, 70 dex

A bloodhound fang+10, inverted hawk tower shield, 3 pieces of Lionel’s armor and beast champion grieves.

Crimson amber medallion+2, starscourge heirloom, prosthesis-wearer heirloom, and erdtree’s favor+2.

It’s gotten me through 3 runs but it’s like Godfrey got his ice cream taken away on the 4th, constantly stomping and constantly doing large aoe attacks. I can barely get him to stage 2, even with summons.
