Alexander is stuck in Radahn's arena

I didn't clear out all of his dialogue before moving on from Radahn's arena, afterwards I saw that he was still in the arena on the map so I finished talking to him. He's still just sitting there refusing to move forward to his next location in Liurna. I've sat at graces, reloaded the game, and have beaten multiple bosses hoping it will flag him to move to the next location, I've explored Gelmir and Altus Plateu a bit as well.
I hope he isn't entirely broken because I was trying to do all of the NPC quests on my second playthrough.

hmmm, I had the same happen to me, not sure what triggered him to move, I think I rested at radhans grace and then talked to him, rested again then he moved

Hit him a few times, trigger combat, leave the place and go to church of vows for absolution. Good luck.

Well I aggro'd him and got absolution, he still won't leave Radahn's arena. Worst case scenario his questline is ruined, I imagine I'm not going to be able to get his taunt now because I missed it at the first place you're supposed to encounter him.

Had in my first run the same issue i guess its still a bug try to hit him, if you kill him use celestial dew in church of vows
