Q about runes from co-opers / hosts

So most all I do in this game is invasions, however badly designed they are - and every now and then I will get a crazy amount of runes. Just now I got 373,000 runes, and my character is a level 10 lol. So, when I looked into this before, it is apparently a %,I think it said 6%, of the runes required for the person you killed to level their next level.
If this is the case, is the assumption then, that these guys that I periodically kill (it's only happened 4 or so times, but I usually don't pay attention to runes and just re-invade, and could die) - are these guys password signed summons that are crazily levelled, or are these guys 'hacking' the game somehow?

Probably either over leveled summons or a glitched reward.

To my understanding this falls under two possibilities:
A: Flat out hacking.
B: Percentage range. (The ppl you killed had millions in rune range being held, and you were given a percentage based off that?) Can't confirm.

Maybe there's a C: Where there level is insane, and the percentage is based off their level.

they are exploiting bug where they can summon unscaled phantom

lets say you get 60k runes for beat phantom, then his level was 373

I think the idea of a percentage of their runes makes the most sense because when I used the calculator it says the guy is over level 700, lol, and there's no way because he was not that challenging. Hacking sounds like an idea too. Today I invaded and a co-opper was completely invisible but I managed to kill the host anyway. I could still lock onto the invisible guy
I've run into a few oddities the past 2 days

and it is by level, not by percentage of runes..

and it is by level, not by percentage of runes..

I meant of all my invasions I ever done on ER so far, I had a weird anomally that I noticed like this, about 4 times.
But this latest one that just happened was 373,000 from one co-operator, and it was around Church of Elleh / The First Step area on my level 10.
There is no way I beat a level 700 on my level 10, unless they get nerfed to oblivion but maintain that rune distributions. He seemed like a regular dude

im afraid you beat lvl 700 on your lvl.. if you get that much runes, or it was pretty rare bug... never see, nor hear about that bug. or maybe you didnt notice how many runes you has before?

im afraid you beat lvl 700 on your lvl.. if you get that much runes, or it was pretty rare bug... never see, nor hear about that bug. or maybe you didnt notice how many runes you has before?

Nah dude I am certain that all came from that one kill. I am not the king of invaders who never loses lol, I can't accrue that amount without dying. I would have had a few thousand runes, tops. Most invasions are 35-150 runes. I dunno man, there was someone who got millions of runes before on an article. Maybe that same thing was a bug, or a hack.
