Damn it, I was afraid that would be the case. I wonder why they don't just unlock the fps if it's that simple to do >.<
Anyway, so offline only! Thanks!
Of course! I played the first 20-ish hours without flawless. Then I discovered the app and played the remaining game with. I didn't notice any difference in game play; just a much smoother overal experience.
FPS should not affect the speed at which you experience movement, mate. It sounds like you're screwing around with the FOV?
Are you saying you were part of the limited network test? My bad if you were.
Also sounds like an extensive demo if you unknowingly missed a major boss.
Not trying to be suspicious or assuming, but it sounds like you were not playing the 'demo' with flawless widescreen at all and just used that as an excuse to not mention piracy.
Again, my bad if that is wrong, but my BS radar puts up so many red flags here.
Why does it matter to you what demo I was playing?
Your radar may interpret it however it wants; no one cares.
Elden Ring is the first game I have played below 100 fps in a very long time so maybe its me but I swear there is a difference in the timings. Anyway 60 fps looks so awful, I get a headache after a few minutes, it looks so much better unlocked and it feels faster to me, even if it isn't.
The iframes are based off the FPS lock of 60.
At 120 FPS you have half the window you have at 60 FPS to time a roll correctly.
Even if this is true, the app apparently fixes this, because I had absolutely no issues and was constantly playing at 130 or higher. You can also check it with nvidia's overlay; the fps and true fps we're pretty much identical.
I never said you had an issue, just said you had a smaller window.
Could you easily tell if you have 2 iframes less padding on each side of getting a move off running at 120?
If you can do that you can probably tell FPS without a counter.
