Melee weapons for full int char?
I was thinking about Astel Wing for the WA or the Carian Knight Sword for it's heavy attack mechanic and.. I don't wanna use the Moonveil.

Uchi+waki
LSS + broadsword
Dual bandit sword

Infuse with bleed or forst to add some alternative damage to your spells.

Except the early game availability of somber stones, I do not see the advantages of "special weapons" like moonveil or wing of astel.

Try Glintstone Kris and its weapon skill, if you don't hate daggers. Clayman's Harpoon has super low requirements and can be infused or enchanted, despite doing magic damage normally.

Other than that, Sword of St. Trina. Maybe Ghostflame Torch lol. I can't think of many other low requirement weapons. Ivory Sickle and Crystal Knife are totally underwhelming.

Here are a few weapons that scale with int:

- Crystal Sword: Basic Sword with Magic Damage (can be obtained relatively early at the albinaurc village).
- Sword of St. Trina: Sword with Sleep Buildup and Magic Damage.
- Crystal Knife: Dagger with Magic Damage (Obtainable early).
- Glintstone Kris: Magic Dagger with Glintstone Dart Skill.

A personal recommandation though:

Get the Sacrifical Axe. It has a passive effect, that restores 4 FP after each kill (not limited to the axe itself) and can be infused with Ashes of War.
Wing of Astel is very good. I used the Clayman's Harpoon until I got it.
Aside from the special weapons you already mentioned, if you don't care about investing a few points in STR (like 8 i guess because the STR requirement is 16), i would advise the DarkMoon Greatsword : scale very well with INT and has an excellent WA.
Otherwise, even a standard sword (longsword, noble sword or lordsworn) infused in cold or magic would do the trick.
Another thing to consider is the mace, it's highly underlooked but it's a great overall weapon that scale well with infusions and is efficient against most foes.
Very interesting thread. A little bit less when people start like "LSS + SotWF" or whatever, tho

I miss the "simple" infusion for this ! A "simple" infused dagger as a side weapon did the trick in DS. (edit i know passive regen is not the same as fp per kill, but it was really handy)

wing of astel is super strong, loved every moment with it. i could even stunlock the runebear in dragonbarrow cave with it
Personally I like the scimitar. It's lightweight, only requires one more point in STR if you start as Astrologer, can be farmed off skeletons in the catacombs, or you can buy one from the Twin Maiden Husk at the Roundtable Hold.

It's fast, great for buffs, and does decent damage. If you want some extra punch, throw on the Glintstone Pebble Ash of War. Does a ton of damage, and poise damage.
The moonveil is still very good but got a stealth nerf several patches ago, and didn't get the buffs of other weapons. It's not nearly as OP as it was, I suggest:

Clayman's Harpoon, its a magic weapon that can be infused and then buffed with scholar's armament.

Darkmoon Greatsword gets bonus from godfreys icon. Stack poise and hold R2 to trade a 1 shot laser beam.

Wings of Astel, if you get two of them they're great roll catchers

Claymore, great with glintstone pebble for the thrust attack
I use a magic zweihander...you'd be surprised what combos you can pull off with sword, hammer sorcery's and a big wide sweeping ultra + it has a huge range poke.
