LSS + broadsword
Dual bandit sword
Infuse with bleed or forst to add some alternative damage to your spells.
Except the early game availability of somber stones, I do not see the advantages of "special weapons" like moonveil or wing of astel.
Other than that, Sword of St. Trina. Maybe Ghostflame Torch lol. I can't think of many other low requirement weapons. Ivory Sickle and Crystal Knife are totally underwhelming.
- Crystal Sword: Basic Sword with Magic Damage (can be obtained relatively early at the albinaurc village).
- Sword of St. Trina: Sword with Sleep Buildup and Magic Damage.
- Crystal Knife: Dagger with Magic Damage (Obtainable early).
- Glintstone Kris: Magic Dagger with Glintstone Dart Skill.
A personal recommandation though:
Get the Sacrifical Axe. It has a passive effect, that restores 4 FP after each kill (not limited to the axe itself) and can be infused with Ashes of War.
Otherwise, even a standard sword (longsword, noble sword or lordsworn) infused in cold or magic would do the trick.
Another thing to consider is the mace, it's highly underlooked but it's a great overall weapon that scale well with infusions and is efficient against most foes.
I miss the "simple" infusion for this ! A "simple" infused dagger as a side weapon did the trick in DS. (edit i know passive regen is not the same as fp per kill, but it was really handy)
It's fast, great for buffs, and does decent damage. If you want some extra punch, throw on the Glintstone Pebble Ash of War. Does a ton of damage, and poise damage.
Clayman's Harpoon, its a magic weapon that can be infused and then buffed with scholar's armament.
Darkmoon Greatsword gets bonus from godfreys icon. Stack poise and hold R2 to trade a 1 shot laser beam.
Wings of Astel, if you get two of them they're great roll catchers
Claymore, great with glintstone pebble for the thrust attack
