Lightning builds help

I'm making a lightning build and I see a lot of videos on the weapons to use, but every one is different. I'm just not sure what would be the best and do I need to scale Dex or Strength with Faith?

Lightning infusions scales off DEX, so find a weapon you like and slap a lightning attribute and an ash of war you like on it and you're good.

You can use any standard weapon for any attribute, just some will scale differently.

Incantations scale off faith.

Pretty sure Lighting infusions scale with Dex, but incantations is usually Faith.

Well if you wanna add Incantations into the mix... some of them are pretty good.

Not lying, currently playing with Dex/Faith Melee Caster and im having a blast.

Should put into Vigor, and Idk what your Endurance is, but that depends on what kind of armor or weapons youre using, the heavier they are the more you need of that.

But it also depends on what Level you wanna end up at, most people are set on 150 has the meta lv for PvP

Vig 45
Mind 25
End 25
Dex 50
Str 18
Faith 48
Int 9
Arc 9

Something around that, could change a thing here and there.

You can respec your stats after beating Rennala so no huge worries, if you mainly doing your lightning damage through incantations then you fine but dex and vig you'll want to be looking at next.

Various weapons that have lightning damage built in and a few ashes of war that do or you spec your weapon to have lightning damage with the sacred whetstone.
