True. I was just looking forward to playing the game repeatedly with multiple types of characters lol

I guess if I play a second one, I'd definitely be using a guide though I'm not sure how fun it would be at that point.

I still have the Elden Beast left, did everything else. Was amazed several times how huge the game is. Optional endgame zones would be DLC in other games. Now I started a just for fun leisurely second run with a different build which I really enjoy :)

And this one…but ya, I dunno how much more I have in me, on Malenia now(actually really like this boss battle tho, maybe game’s broken me too) but doing this instead of fire giant cos just kinda stopped giving a duck after few tries of that. It’s like last leg of running a marathon at this point where become so routine with a lot of encounters(copy paste stuff) that more or less on auto pilot to cross the finish line finally and not really interested in exploring or seeing more of the game.

Did you beat all the bosses by yourself without summon and spirit? I found that people who don't beat bosses themselves are more likely to give up on the game half way or will only beat it once and call it.

then i watched speedruns

started messing around with those strats and memorizing locations of upgrade materials and stuff to get myself started on new playthroughs super easily. made it fun again.

im at ng1 and its starting of very easy, I killed rohdon with out him even changing his phase even after rushing right to him, I cant think of any thing else to do other then getting equiptment ive missed.

maybe I should just rush to beat the game until i get to ng7 or something

I've completed the game on Dex, Int, and working on a stam and vig build. Try making different characters to play different roles. It sometimes pays off to change up your playstyle. After I explored the first time though, I did just seem to clear out all dungeons/bosses for souls/runes and get the items I wanted. I agree that it is VERY large considering scale, but I love that about the game. I've got a 300 hours and counting in the game...granted I leave the game open while doing the laundry, eating, etc. I still love it.
