Report a translation problem
Edit: if you summon, expect them to destroy the boss. They aren't placing the sign to show you how to fight. They place it to kill him and get the rune arcs/runes. Fight the boss on your own first to learn the moves and summon if you can't beat him.
As a note, unless there is a lock, a fog wall will almost always mean a boss.
For the future, if you see a summon sign that has a player that's wearing a Stone/Crystal headpiece and a bunch of mage armour/weapons, probably skip them and try a different summon sign. Sorcery is extremely powerful when min/maxed. Pick the players that look like Knights or Warriors and they'll usually be the ones to run and and start tanking/brawling.
