Just got Frenzied Flame ending

I saw a lot of people here and other places saying "Good luck getting frenzied flame ending without a guide."

I don't understand why. I wasn't even going for that ending. I stumbled on it while clearing other achievements. I was meaning to go for the normal lord ending.

Same. I wasn't doing anything extra... just kinda stumbled upon it. Admittedly it took me awhile to figure out that door but I got there.

It's like Shin Megami Tensei game's neutral endings, they mostly make sense if you just stop for a second and think, for some it's considered a feat.

Only thing keeping more from getting this ending is the bugged invasions who drop items required to progress Hyetta's questline
If they don't bug out, then ya, it's not that hard

Hyetta's? I didn't do anyone's quest lines. Just stumbled on where three fingers was after fighting mogh in the sewers.

really? thought she was required for this ending...

Read somewhere this bug can happen because the player killed the local Tree Avatar before starting/doing the grape part of the questline.

Can't be sure of this one, but if you make significant progress in the over-all story, wouldn't she be at her final location, despite having done her questline or not. You can skip quite alot of quest steps for multiple NPC's after certain story triggers and still finish their quests. So maybe that's the case for her aswell?

She's only required if you want the flame seal, it can be done without ever bothering with her.

because I left a talisman equipped I didn't realize you just need to unequiep everything hah.

Hyetta is not required, although I would recommend doing her questline if you're going for that ending SPOILER TIME Fully progressing her questline leads to her being in the same area as the Three Fingers where she will give the Frenzied Flame Seal which enhances Frenzied Flame Incantations

Nope. She stays at stormveil if you dont go trough all the grape shenanigans also shes not required there's a reason they put shabriri on mountain of giants its cuz hyettas quest sucks

I was there for the shield, didn't know how to get in the door and I did look that up. I didn't know what going in the door did though. I legit thought it was a boss lol
