any way to reduce scarlet rot build up?

l have 2 of those items that reduce the scarlet rot ,l'm fighting Malenia ,Queen of rot and whenever she attacks even if u block u get scarlet rot build up ,l didn't notice it at first ,but once u see it , it generates anxiety to the point l end up dying to otherwise avoidable attacks ,any tips , armor or a way to grind those scarlet rot meds ,l only have 2 of them and l don't remember where l got them since l never had to use them as a necessity before this boss

not saying git gut, but on malenia you dont want to get hit or trade much because of her lifeleech. so when scarlet is a problem, you're doing something wrong =)

Is this new? When I killed her a couple weeks back she didn't do any rot build except for the bloom attack.

Her butterfly attacks do rot build up i believe.

the spell only require 12 Faith to use

Alleviates poison and scarlet rot buildup and cures these ailment

You could trade out your armor for something that slows rot build up (cleanrot armor), or swap out a talisman that provides better resistances. I do agree with Varyn though that you really need to get hit less if rot build up is an issue. The only cure besides berries is Fire Cleanse Me incantation, but you might be hard press to get the spell off in the fight unless you have a summon taking some of the aggro.

I totally forgot shield users exist :D sry, after 2 days of malenia farming i thought the only weapons in the game are river of blood or other katanas... or spells =)

l got her finally ,barely but still l finally beat her ffs what a difficult boss
