Apparently the main nerf was to his ranged arrow based attacks and people act like they were so fast they were hard to dodge. At least from the video (because I did not get a chance to fight him pre-nerf) it actually looks easier so lon gas you dodge properly because you need less iframes to properly clear the arrow. You just have to dodge slightly earlier. His other arrows were easy to avoid, entirely. Further, apparently a lot of people aren't aware that the debris sticking out of the ground in the battlefield are designed specifically to block Radahn's arrows until you get close as you dash from safe spot to safe spot closing the distance. The main arrow is magical, too, so you could simply toss on a 10 faith requirement Magic Fortification buff and/or Spelldrake talisman +0 or better and call it a day as the arrows prove less threatening if you screwed up (by really, why would you even be getting hit to begin with by them?).
The other issue was his melee attacks are easier to dodge but, um, not because they were nerfed. They had a bug with Radahn's melee hitboxes being inaccurate so this was fixed...
So basically the same as before only less RNG in melee due to hitboxes fails (at least gathered from what I can find. Again I've not done the boss, myself, and only looked at the datamined info, online discussions, and video pre-nerf).
You use the word "apparently" because you have no clue. I've done the fight pre nerf and nerfed. There is a big difference. Maybe let people who actually know what they are talking about speak. I can't believe you posted a page worth of nonsense about something you freely admit to not knowing jack about.
Now he struggles with them.
Casual scrub detected.
Pre nerf he would one shot every guy you summoned constantly and the player would be 1 shot all the time too.
So imagine him the same, but all those hits you took during you win, wouldn't have happened because you died on the first one, every time.
And if you summoned all the phantoms in the arena, once they all crowded around him, they would all be taken out at the same time by a single AoE attack and you run around summoning again.
His behaviour is the same, his damage output is now just less absurd, if you want the pre nerf experience right now, go into the fight with low HP and don't heal, so you can just get 1 shot if he touches you.
