How was Radhan before nerf?
I just fought him, probably passably over level with my astrologer 96 (low vig though) and found him the easiest boss so far, just slung some rocks at him whilst he was occupied by a whopping 5 summons available!

I did Caelid at level 50-60 (pre-nerf) and it felt perfect. 96 definitely is very high for Radhan, especially now.

killed him pre nerf at about 67 and he was hard as hell i havent killed him after the nerf
Before the change, Radahn was a lot more enjoyable. Now, he is weaker than many of the regular foes in his castle. It is rather bad.

He was pretty damn hard - I hit him slightly under levelled around 50ish and had to grind to face him again. I assume they had to nerf him because people were dropping off at that point as he is a bit of a wall and a lot people get put off by the idea of needing to level up. Post nerf he is a lot easier which is probably correct for that point in the game - I am not sure why he wasn’t one of the last boss fights you encounter instead of sticking him pretty early game.

Cheers guys. I'll try him with my other character at lower level and melee

i killed him around 80 lvl and it took like 5-10 tries because he was 1 shotting with some of his hits. i havent got to him yet on my 2nd run but he is probably insanely nerfed and will kill him first try

Yeah the one shots were a major issue - he can’t one shot you anymore with his arrows etc

He is nearly the same from what I understood from another thread about the subject. I'm not sure why he is claimed to be nerfed so hard when what was nerfed isn't even relevant.

Apparently the main nerf was to his ranged arrow based attacks and people act like they were so fast they were hard to dodge. At least from the video (because I did not get a chance to fight him pre-nerf) it actually looks easier so lon gas you dodge properly because you need less iframes to properly clear the arrow. You just have to dodge slightly earlier. His other arrows were easy to avoid, entirely. Further, apparently a lot of people aren't aware that the debris sticking out of the ground in the battlefield are designed specifically to block Radahn's arrows until you get close as you dash from safe spot to safe spot closing the distance. The main arrow is magical, too, so you could simply toss on a 10 faith requirement Magic Fortification buff and/or Spelldrake talisman +0 or better and call it a day as the arrows prove less threatening if you screwed up (by really, why would you even be getting hit to begin with by them?).

The other issue was his melee attacks are easier to dodge but, um, not because they were nerfed. They had a bug with Radahn's melee hitboxes being inaccurate so this was fixed...

So basically the same as before only less RNG in melee due to hitboxes fails (at least gathered from what I can find. Again I've not done the boss, myself, and only looked at the datamined info, online discussions, and video pre-nerf).

You use the word "apparently" because you have no clue. I've done the fight pre nerf and nerfed. There is a big difference. Maybe let people who actually know what they are talking about speak. I can't believe you posted a page worth of nonsense about something you freely admit to not knowing jack about.

Had a ton of HP, wasn't really harder just made me waste more time.

Lmao Maxx woke up today and chose hard facts
He'd fight off the summons after about a minute or two.

Now he struggles with them.

Casual scrub detected.

pre nerf at 70, was tough but fun, i broke his stance and that was the most hype crit ive ever done. Literally yelled. Did it post nerf the other day and it was sad TBH, first try only used 2 healing pots. was lvl 80 for my pvp char

All they really did was lower his damage.

Pre nerf he would one shot every guy you summoned constantly and the player would be 1 shot all the time too.

So imagine him the same, but all those hits you took during you win, wouldn't have happened because you died on the first one, every time.

And if you summoned all the phantoms in the arena, once they all crowded around him, they would all be taken out at the same time by a single AoE attack and you run around summoning again.

His behaviour is the same, his damage output is now just less absurd, if you want the pre nerf experience right now, go into the fight with low HP and don't heal, so you can just get 1 shot if he touches you.
