How High of a Level is too High for Multiplayer?

With the multiplayer range being +-20, how high is too high that you won't find other players? Since there's also an exponential cost curve for leveling, the amount of players with higher levels also drops exponentially.

im finding 150 to be the sweet spot im not quite getting to the big soft caps so i guess it could end up being higher but i was able to complete NG+4 with my stats and still find pvp/coop pretty regularly

at 200 I have to wait 5-10min to get summoned anywhere except final boss

130-170 imo was best spot but I want others' opinions

That's about enough to hit 60 vig and 80 in a damage stat, with extra left over for weapon requirements & some endurance for equip load.

So yes, it does get you "to the big soft caps".

fair enough i guess you could go that route i just got 50 in vig/arc/dex so i dont have anything reaching those big caps

What's the point of arcane? You will only ever apply bleed once or twice in a fight anyway unless ur spamming bloodflies. When I tested it was just inferior to dex/int or fai/str

Idk, but i was being summoned and could find summons easily for Malenia at level 200. I'm on NG+.

it just has scaling on certain weapons and spells i didnt math it out just kinda went with what ever felt right at the time and it seems to be serving me pretty well

Its not +/-20.
It's +/- 10 + 10%.
And then weapon upgrade lv increases your lv invisibly for the purposes of match making.
If you want to play online 150 is your best bet for stopping.
