White Screen of Death - Bad Solution but what is left at this point...

I tried all the fixes on reddit, youtube, steam, etc and spent a full day on it.
Only thing that eventually worked was a fresh install of Windows, full wipe.
Installing my usual programs one by one, I found a conflict with Process Lasso. Just having it installed on my system, not even running, caused Elden Ring to white screen and refuse to launch. Uninstalling Process Lasso allowed Elden Ring to run again.
I suspect there is a serious flaw with Elden Ring causing it to randomly conflict with a wide variety of programs. I have seen people listing the Epic Games launcher, MSI Afterburner, Rivatuner, EasyAntiCheat, Windows itself, etc just on and on with the different programs/configurations that cause Elden Ring to fail.

this is pretty much what worked for me go to you windows search type "%temp%" and delete all files or most of them (they aren't important) and you should be good at first didnt work for me but a week later did it again and it worked

i had the same problem till now so i searched the internet... turned out you need to deinstall the epic games launcher for whatever reason and now it works again (???)

Yes, as stated in the original post, there are a wide variety of programs and configurations that can prevent the game from running. I did both %temp% and Epic Games launcher, plus many more but for me it wasn't the solution.
If you are certain your hardware supports the game but it won't run no matter what you do, a fresh Windows install seems to work.
Hopefully the devs will take some time and find out why their game is failing like this, leaving it to the customers to figure out is not an acceptable solution, and many can't get past the issues.

Having the same problem, I'm not about to start messing with games files or installing stuff, but I've done just about everything else in videos like deleting temp files under %TEMP% and reinstalling it. I don't have anything like MSI Afterburner or Rivatuner just AMD Radeon Software... I just want to play the game I was gifted and I cannot even get to the start menu.
