Compared to things I've seen trip the minefield of wires, mind blown if this is allowed online.
EAC does not pick up any changes made to the save file , as long as values are not changed abnormally. Friends of mine use my savegame for weeks now without any problems as everything there is hand picked or traded
LOL seriously? I don't care to look deeper into it, but I would presume it uses GUIDs or some unique identifier to prevent this. What cheating is this stopping again?
Uncapped FPS OP? Keybinds to spells and items OP? Just getting a character.... not OP?
I'll take the save and test with EAC without launching the game. I have to debug this. If not anything but the pure irony. Or best troll ever.
I guess add me? Doubt you can attach a file here. And not sure about a link to something trusted like Google Cloud or whatever.
Enjoying Weird Wild and debugging this malware might add to that fun too.
EDIT: if this is legit and allowed (I still, even if undetected, doubt they'd let it slide but I'm not an authority on this) thanks for your hard work in sharing with others. I'm like 250 or something. PvP kinda broken at the moment but still fun. Thanks.
If this does trip EAC somehow, I can find out without a ban. Save someone the headache.
Many ways. If I coded an anti cheat, presuming game is server based, something GUID based works easy enough. EAC runs at the kernel level, literally inspecting and recording and modifying anything Windows will allow it to. It's a wombo combo of kernel level code and user mode hooks among many other things.
So this surprises me lol. What stops me from playing offline (without EAC) hacking my save and then going back online? Uhmmmmm.

I have no intent on using the saves. I became a developer because I'm curious. Do wonder now if OP is actually going to do this and claim about other people using the save. Why not just share? Steam ToS, maybe?
Absent something like anti cheat, changing save data is trivial. Feel like I'm getting rickrolled into thinking EAC won't trip this, so I must find out. And I can do so outside of the online game. It's all 0s and 1s after all.
It's the first thing that pops on google search.
I wanted to ask here because I thought some people would be interested in using it
Thanks. Never bothered with saves as that's typically the lowest hanging fruit for devs and EAC comes at "cheaters" like everything is a nail and it's a comet. Morbid curiosity and irony really.
