Also, if it were players, you'd be fighting all three at one time.
It would be something similar to the Spears of the Church fight from DS3 where the boss before Gael could be another player summoned to protect the church. That would be a nice feature/boss fight mechanic if they introduce it again in a DLC, though I do not think everyone would like the PVP mechanic from it.
If you're requesting a nerf to something, then you feel like it's overtuned (IE too hard). Otherwise you wouldn't request a nerf.
I see your point too, and to me I would enjoy your suggestion overall. I guess optional pvp boss fights would be more preferable than forced PVP tp progress.
That is much more reasonable. I definitely did not get that from your OP. The slightly longer and more detailed explanation enlightened me.
I guess I didn't catch on to it because that type of mechanic hasn't existed in any video game that I've ever played. So it simply just didn't register as being what you were talking about.
It is a cool idea though. I'd be down for it. Heck, they don't even need to drop the number. When it comes to 1 v 1s, you should be able to win vs 3 phantoms in a row considering you get a lot more healing than they do. Just maybe you get some flask charges back after beating each one.
