How many maidens?

Is it possible to collect multiple maidens, or are you locked into one once you commit to them?
I know at the end of ranni's storyline you can pledge yourself to her, If I do this, am I locked out of the rest of the maiden's storylines?

there's no limit~ it's like Pokemon, you just collect as many Maidens as you can~

It doesn't matter, you can do all their quests whenever you want. You notice you can also pledge yourself to the male npc's as well.

Collect all 150 Maidenmons to become Maidenmon master.

I guess someone will make a mod where all enemies are the same maidens, including all the NPCs, merchants and bosses (bigger maidens).

They will all say "Are you Maidenless" every time you aggro them maidens.

The big yellow tree is also one BIG YELLOW TINTED MAIDEN.
All your different items are Maiden icons, including weapons which are tiny Maiden statues.
Your spirits will be maidens with slightly different facegen or hair style or eye colour, all are maidens.

If you shoot an arrow, the game will animate a maiden running at high speed from your bow till the enemy (who is also now a maiden).

To his defense.. you never know when or what you screw things up here (without a guide) and ranni can be a lil bit confusing.

So in short. Collect all maidens.
