Alexanders Quest Bug

I did the entire quest, after I talked to him in the lava river I went to the elevator in the dragon temple to face him but in the place where he should be there was a white dragon, I killed the dragon thinking he would appear later but I can't make him appear

yes, I talked to him until he repeated the dialogue, he is no longer in the lava river :/

in the videos people open the fog to the elevator and they already find he, maybe it's because I had already opened it before I talked to him in the lava river

Dont think so, i did it that way (in fact i even killed all of the bosses of that area) before i even talked to him when he was stuck and needed oil.

So, either just quest bugged or something might be missing, who knows.

I couldn't get the oil to get him out of the ground, the game says I have everything to make the oil, but cracked pots say they're missing in there, yet i have 7 in my inventory elsewhere...I think there are still a few bugs to be worked out...

Do you have some bombs already made? the Cracked pots are shared between all the bomb types, so if you already maxed out, you cant make more.

He wasn’t near a dragon for me, watch a YouTube video and try again. He was in an area all his own.

did you rest at the bonfire and walk back?
and are you in the correct location?

Him bathing at the lava should be the last forced checkpoint you gotta do before he moves there so go and check if hes still there.

He is NOT where the dragon is, he is on the other path where you have to jump over stuff. This path goes much further and also leads to Ancient Dragon Apostle's Cookbook (4)

[Rogue]

There's a white dragon up top for the fog door/temple lift in a corner of the area. It's optional and meant for loot.

But you still need to jump and platform up even higher up some columns (under the columns there are some dogs if you fell down) to the right. Alexander is standing waiting on a large piece of broken colosseum wall.

The correct order is talk to him in the lava area (magma lizard boss) near volcano manor then head to fire giant and use his golden summon sign to get him to help out with the fight. Finally up top at Farum Azula.

I watched several videos, I tried to go to all locations again, I tried to go at different times of the day and nothing, I took the pot helmet and exhausted the dialogue in the lava area after that he just disappeared. when i arrived in the area that he should be in Farum Azula there was a sleeping white dragon, and no alexander so i killed the dragon thinking he would appear later and still nothing :/

also im not sure but i assume his quest might be tied to this guy's progression, they added this npc recently: https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Jar+Bairn (which questline is tied to Diallos again)

yes, I read it, the only part I didn't do was summon him in the fight against the fire giant because I went to do the quest later, but in the videos I saw they said that this was optional

if the video was pre-jar bairn its possible that it changed
