Alexanders Quest Bug

I did the entire quest, after I talked to him in the lava river I went to the elevator in the dragon temple to face him but in the place where he should be there was a white dragon, I killed the dragon thinking he would appear later but I can't make him appear

It's a possibility I'll try to do it again in NG+ to clear the doubt

yes, I read it, the only part I didn't do was summon him in the fight against the fire giant because I went to do the quest later, but in the videos I saw they said that this was optional

That golden summoning sign means you have properly move him into the next progression. If it's not there, you did not progress. Summon him or not, I don't think it matters.

also im not sure but i assume his quest might be tied to this guy's progression, they added this npc recently: https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Jar+Bairn (which questline is tied to Diallos again)

The Jar bairn is not necessary for alexander questline. I did not even visit that place to get his talisman until Alexander questline is completed with his innards in hand...

Yeah, that haopen to me in my first playthrough. But did on NG+. And also, it's Jar Biarn's quest that tied to Alexandr, not other way around. Because in that last battle with Alexandr and if you done Jar Biarn's quest to the point then he is saying he will soon depart (he will stay), you'll give something nasty to small pot, and that will be finale of 2 quests. I did this for the sake of talismans and pot head, because their are handy indeed.
