im not actually blaming it.
i said it "feels" not it "is"
but even with summons it feels allmost impossible to win against some bosses.
Niall is some special case in that regard.
Cheapest thing i´ve ever encountered.
I don't think this can expand past pointless debate though. One side will argue how easily this is done solo, others will explain the mechanics, and you'll get no real reasoning mostly because the die hards of the game want to pretend nerfing yourself is the only correct way to play.
My point is not what your point is, my point is your point will just create heated pointless debate because the community has a hard time accepting this is not a DS game. It is Elden Ring styled for childrens ease of play.
Wager a guess done all optional stuff like Haligtree too? If so, exact same feeling of burnout for me.
Good news is, once out of Azula in home stretch and I did not feel like final few bosses were that brutal with cheapness routines, felt like game in fact takes massive nose dive in difficulty after Azula.
Also ya that place is a CF to navigate when first learning it. Basically tho if found grace site on bridge, once head up top on the bridge from it, to right is final area boss, to left, thru church place and down edge by a cliff outside of it is the optional boss. Once see it, you’ll know cos super obvious little platfalling path down to him.
Lvl125 with alot of HP and Stamina but my weapon is only +4 to compensate and hits very low for a great curved sword but I like the design so I am keeping it for now. Maybe stick to invasions and try new builds afterwards unless there is something worth it on NG+ to get.
Maybe I just hate this snow field part.
i know and thats the thing that im thinking about if im going any further.
usually i should have beaten the game by now but since my save file of my first character has been stuck on 100% loading screen after dying to the fire giant i had to start from scratch.
It did feel cheap for me.
The way I see it the more annoying/less polished part starts from right after royal city. Late game felt more annoying than challenging to the point that I didn't feel any catharsis after beating bosses.
Especially after spending a half a day to figure out all the attack patterns for Malenia and managed to do that solo run without weapon art. All I felt was that I should've changed build or used some summon. It didn't feel worth digging really.
