Game feels just cheap.
It´s so annyoning right now.
Maybe im burned out.
Im close to the end and im struggling to go any further.
Bosses are not much more difficult but cheap.

Allmost unlimited combos with allmost no chance to avoid + high damage isn´t skill based anymore to me and thats not just the bosses.

Azula annoyed me right from the beginning since i still haven´t found the way to the boss room down at the bridge for hours.

Kinda why co-ops, and summons are in the game. Some bosses force you to acknowledge the need for minor distraction. Not that it can't be done alone, that it clearly SHOULD NOT be done alone. That is pretty obvious in the mechanics. The solo vets are having a hard time dealing with that reality, but nerfing yourself is not an excuse to blame the game.

im not actually blaming it.

i said it "feels" not it "is"

but even with summons it feels allmost impossible to win against some bosses.

Niall is some special case in that regard.
Cheapest thing i´ve ever encountered.

Fair, many would agree with you. Many mechanics provoke the need for assistance that the general community loves to ignore for git gud status in a game not meant to be played that way. Does not mean that is your take after all, just the general mass sense of opinions.

I don't think this can expand past pointless debate though. One side will argue how easily this is done solo, others will explain the mechanics, and you'll get no real reasoning mostly because the die hards of the game want to pretend nerfing yourself is the only correct way to play.

My point is not what your point is, my point is your point will just create heated pointless debate because the community has a hard time accepting this is not a DS game. It is Elden Ring styled for childrens ease of play.

I was feeling same way at that point.

Wager a guess done all optional stuff like Haligtree too? If so, exact same feeling of burnout for me.

Good news is, once out of Azula in home stretch and I did not feel like final few bosses were that brutal with cheapness routines, felt like game in fact takes massive nose dive in difficulty after Azula.

Also ya that place is a CF to navigate when first learning it. Basically tho if found grace site on bridge, once head up top on the bridge from it, to right is final area boss, to left, thru church place and down edge by a cliff outside of it is the optional boss. Once see it, you’ll know cos super obvious little platfalling path down to him.

this game assumed i have friends i can play this game with. How tragic for me.

I am in a similar predicament, I don't even know if i'll go into NG+ even.

Lvl125 with alot of HP and Stamina but my weapon is only +4 to compensate and hits very low for a great curved sword but I like the design so I am keeping it for now. Maybe stick to invasions and try new builds afterwards unless there is something worth it on NG+ to get.

Maybe I just hate this snow field part.

Wait till you get to Malenia, she's by far the cheapest boss in from's repertoire.
ye, played 200 hours and still the end is a struggle withouth the summons. Watching the infinite loop of boss' cobmos is kinda lame.

usually i should have beaten the game by now but since my save file of my first character has been stuck on 100% loading screen after dying to the fire giant i had to start from scratch.

Sry for that but i just had to get rid of it in some way.
I´ll put the game away for a bit but in my case that´s actually not a good sign.
Probably will never touch that game again.

Not sure what your angle is, but hell if I care? lol You do you mate, just yes just attempting a fair warning. The ppl here mostly either are too dumb to care, or are smart enough to know exactly what you mean, and choose to not care anyway. Don't worry about it because the babblers are just having fun, and the deniers are just signing their ticket to hell. Gl hf on your journey

It did feel cheap for me.
The way I see it the more annoying/less polished part starts from right after royal city. Late game felt more annoying than challenging to the point that I didn't feel any catharsis after beating bosses.

Especially after spending a half a day to figure out all the attack patterns for Malenia and managed to do that solo run without weapon art. All I felt was that I should've changed build or used some summon. It didn't feel worth digging really.
