Where was the Leyndell Divine Bridge Meant to go? (DLC/Cut content discussion)
Compared to the other early reveal areas (Farum Azula and Nokron), it looks to have much more importance and isnt some incidental ruin. Especially with that fancy ass lift thats only used once elsewhere (connecting leyndell with a divine tower and lift of rold). Looking at the map, the bridge pointed away from anything of importance. Even if there was a hexagon/circle connecting the divine towers in ages past, it wouldnt intersect with that. Its portal to Malenia/Miquella divine tower feels like a rushed fix after something was moved last minute. Am I missing something, or is this another DS3 great bridge situation?

the eternal cities feel like they were meant to be surreal and fever dreamlike. the overworld felt very grounded so inconsistencies like this bothered me a lil. feel free to point out more overworld jank if I'm overlooking some

There is a teleporter, inactive at the start, that leads to one of Divine Towers. Divine Bridge to Divine Tower, I do not think there is anything more behind this. :)

ig the chapel of anticipation area kinda felt off too. only purpose seems to be a callback to undead asylum/demons souls tutorial. like how/why is the grafted scion/stormhawk king even there

malenia's tower is called isolated divine tower for a reason

i understand, but the reason the porter was there specifically feels kinda arbitrary. its like they needed to put something worthwhile on the bridge and it didn't really matter where malenias porter was placed. theres nothing relating to malenia that would imply thats how you would get to her tower, unlike every other tower.

Probably DLC still in the works

if there was literally nothing there except the giant i could see dlc as an option. with how it is now i can't see it. the most obvious spot for a dlc would be under those clouds in the very centre of the map. i believe getting there will have something to do with either nepheli/haight quest (could be flown by stormhawk king), or perhaps the useless Castanet key item from the Patches/Tanith/Rykard-head quest, as both seem to have unresolved endings. i could also see the grand lift of dectus going down to a new area in the nameless eternal city/deeproot for a godwyn related story.

i can see it leading to an area out west of liurnia as there are a bunch of clouds there to hide potential land. the fact it remains intact after leyndell goes to ♥♥♥♥ is good enough evidence for that actually. bridges made of the same ♥♥♥♥ as radagons order greatsword could appear connecting the divine towers and the bridge to a new area of west

Now that I'm reminded of the towers. I'm quite disappointed no other towers had a mini dungeon like the one in Caelid

that dungeon (both the outside and inside parkour puzzle) and the carian study hall for rannis quest are some of the most memorable moments in the game, more than the majority of main legacy dungeons. coincidentally, both are connected with the godskins, who i RPed as on my first playthrough
