ELDEN RING
Radagon/Elden Beast fight...
Well, after watching dozens of video help guides and opinions on YouTube etc., tried to "re-spec" multiple times, tried different weapons, spells, incantations, etc...still not possible for the average gamer like myself to beat this final boss. I'm pretty discouraged that apparently the game design caters to people who play 28 hrs a day and the developers are smoking crack when it comes to balancing this disaster. Had fun up til this point...

The way I beat it the first time was initially with 2 cooperators. One coop died to Radagon almost immediately and then the second died right before Radagon did. Now here's the trick. If you cancel your Furled Calling Finger you can then summon your full health Mimic Tear. It still took a bit because of Elden Beast running around like a bastard, but having a full health summon really helped.

Also, weirdly the fight seemed easier on NG+. Did it the first try without respeccing out of Bloodloss. Might've just been luck though.

Elden Beast isn't really a hard boss, it's just an annoying one as it keeps running away from you. If you use a weapon with a lot of physical damage you should be able to damage him a good bit in the openings you get.
I think I spent more time on this one that margit, and that one took me a bit because I just wasnt getting it. I just put on all the highest holy I could fit, (looked like an idiot) went and finally got the pest threads and went at it 6 or 7 times. I think Radagon got me once, usually I stomped him but he caught me fumbling my flasks, the beast I would get down to about 25% or I would get wiped quick, one or the other. I tried tische and mimic, felt mimic helped me more, by living longer. I think when I did beat it, it was one of the easier attempts, it wasn't running away so much and only hit me once with wave of gold, so probably a little rng help there. Also pretty high level, 169 I think.

You must be 12, that's ok bro...one day you'll grow some hair on a pair...

Jesus Christ the amount of sheer projection in your seething comments...
Nah bro it's totally not you, it's all the game's fault. You're perfect in everyway! Totally not tilted you couldn't cheese a boss with Ash of War spam and summons.
Yeah, I just hate comments like his and yours, frankly...read some of the other replies...their actually helpful and not toxic, like you! Lick me...

Malenia is the hardest boss. Radagon is super fun. Elden Beast runs too much and drags on too long - especially when the host summons 2.

What kind of playstyle are you using?

I kinda went for high holy and physical resistance (combo of armor, talisman and buffs from food and incantations) with summons. It worked out well.

For Elden Beast, I tried attacking its back and tried to be aware of that stupid laser tracking move.
I keep mixing it up, but definitely have high holy resist goin. Have my Black Knight Tiche +10, and or tried +10 Mimic, and the weapons vary based on fire, etc and that badass shield that has high holy resist...so, I dunno, I'll keep trying.
Malenia is easier imo. Radagon is fine but I absolutely hate the Elden Beast. It still flies away way to much. I thought they patched it.

+1, it's easier to read Malenia's moves and she doesn't teleport far away like the Elden Beast which I consider is a big boss and can't see entirely unless using the Flawless Widescreen mod.

Sunbro Radagon is weak to fire. But
the elden beast is immune to all status so you got stay smart out there with it

Are you using like Haligdrake Talisman +2? Not sure if Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman is useful here. I think the Lord's Divine Fortification incantation is useful here?

I think my most easiest build with was a more dex/arcane, with some faith (like close to 30). Arcane stat apparently has holy resistance too.
Elden Beast runs away too much in addition to him being highly resistant to holy/lightning.
Its a pretty lame boss fight despite the cool attacks/character design. I ended up beating it by spawning in a player, then after he died to elden beast I summoned the Black Knife spirit & it was far more manageable than my prior attempts (strength build btw).
Uh, i've beaten him four times already with the help of other players for my runs. I'm an average player, and this is my very first Fromsoftware game. He's not hard, he's just annoying.
