The way I beat it the first time was initially with 2 cooperators. One coop died to Radagon almost immediately and then the second died right before Radagon did. Now here's the trick. If you cancel your Furled Calling Finger you can then summon your full health Mimic Tear. It still took a bit because of Elden Beast running around like a bastard, but having a full health summon really helped.
Also, weirdly the fight seemed easier on NG+. Did it the first try without respeccing out of Bloodloss. Might've just been luck though.
+1, it's easier to read Malenia's moves and she doesn't teleport far away like the Elden Beast which I consider is a big boss and can't see entirely unless using the Flawless Widescreen mod.
the elden beast is immune to all status so you got stay smart out there with it
Are you using like Haligdrake Talisman +2? Not sure if Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman is useful here. I think the Lord's Divine Fortification incantation is useful here?
I think my most easiest build with was a more dex/arcane, with some faith (like close to 30). Arcane stat apparently has holy resistance too.
Its a pretty lame boss fight despite the cool attacks/character design. I ended up beating it by spawning in a player, then after he died to elden beast I summoned the Black Knife spirit & it was far more manageable than my prior attempts (strength build btw).
