borderless fullscreen windowed

please add borderless fullscreen windowed the reason for it is then we can all play the game with our native full refresh rate i don't care about the 60fps limit i just want full refresh rate so we don't get inverse ghosting and va black smearing from running the game in 60hz instead of the full 144hz !

Doesn't your monitor automatically switch back to 60hz anyway with games that are locked at 60fps even if they're in windowed mode, when you tab back into them? At least mine seems to do that. Am I ignoring something?

nope if you use borderless fullscreen or windowed mode it should always use 144hz !

If it doesn't come with one, you can download "Borderless Gaming", set the game to windowed mode and the program should make it borderless. Works fine with the other souls games so it shouldn't be any different with this one.

I know some people like to play that way if they tab out a lot since it's faster, and removes the risk of games freezing/crashing. The only times I noticed a decrease in performance was like 10 years ago on ancient hardware and even then it was barely more than negligible... just my experience though.

Not true for years now. I don't understand people still saying that. You either have a very bad PC in which case the game runs bad fullscreen or not, or it just doesn't run any differently. I have tested a lot of games in both with no difference in performance

They, uh, still do. Games you can play do include ones with exclusive fullscreen. You meant "games made in 2021" which is also funny considering it's still technically in the "being made" stage into 2022.

Dark souls always had windowed mode but never had borderless windowed mode, and never had the right resolution for my displays. so I've always had to use external programs or mods to get it right.

i tried using it for dark souls 3 and another game but i get these weird lines all over my screen when using it that doesn't look good do you have a fix for that anyway they should just add the option in game anyway we should not have to use a third party program just to be able to use full refresh rate !

Ultra wide screen at 144Hz.... That's what's needed, also full native keyboard and mouse controls/functions.

yes i know but i don't see that happening but borderless fullscreen windowed should be easy to do for them
