Another new hacking exploit discovered in Elden Ring (and Mordecai on Twitter posted a video of it)

Mordecai on Twitter, who has a big Souls/Soulsborne following, posted a video of it happening to someone to warn everyone of this exploit/hack: https://twitter.com/EldenRingUpdate/status/1504958027925008387

How is Fromsoft this stupid and inactive against hackers in their new product? The product that they are paying so much attention to that they haven't even bothered to fix the Dark Souls servers. Online PC gaming with Fromsoft games is like "russian roulette" at this point. Just hoping that you don't invade some worthless sack of crap loser hacker and get your save filed corrupted. The ride never ends...does it?

Edit: This is relevant to the Dark Souls 3 forum because if Fromsoft hasn't effectively stopped hackers from doing this stuff in Elden Ring, they most likely will never be able to prevent it in Dark Souls 3 (as well as Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 2).

My personal theory is that they simply can´t...PC
The way that it took years to port DS to the PC-platform and how abysmal it was on a technical level (like not supporting keyboard keys as interaction prompt or the way the mouse input was done) they never expanded their skill portfolio beyond console ecologies.
