Is Reduvia worth it late game?
I have it +5 and the stones to get it to +9 but I dont know if its very viable later in game?
Finished the game as mage and wanted to do a run with dual daggers or claws with faith and so far just have reduvia and bandits knife. Dont even know if ill like claws yet.

i dont understand how people make these things work. i get it, its fun but even dual wield deals little damage with effective scaling and you need to get very close to everything

dump everything into arcane, spam L1 and watch those bleed procs go. Especially of you have two reduvia, it's great imo

i beat margit with dual daggers, just depends on situation. i found it to be mostly useless throughout other bosses tho and shield more effective since you only get a peck or two of hits in at a time when the bosses are staggered from their moves.
i use bandits knife and reduvia for pvp-like situations (npc invaders) and shield+bandits knife for mobs.

It's all about the skill. Most weapons can be made decent bleed weapons. You can even use shortbow arrows to stack bleed from range. But Reduvia has ranged bleed built into its skill. It's one of the few ranged melee weapons and since it stacks bleed from a distance it's also one of the most overpowered.

Im not saying its been easy. Its more just trying to play the opposite of my first playthrough, I had a more than moderately armored mage with a moonlight greatsword and could win almost everything at range.
Now I have a light equipment load at least I have pants faith character with 2 very short range bleed weapons and significantly more limited range capability (But hey bleed arrows)
Its a lot harder and I die a lot more but its tough and keeps me going.
Everyone runs katana or dual katana for bleed weapons im just trying to figure out my own thing, but yeah knives suck pretty bad sometimes other times absolutely amazing

Meh personally think the Reduvia is overrated even for a dagger build. Get 2 giant knives, stick bloody slash on them and you have more bleed building in your combo's than the reduvia offers.

Sure the Reduvia's weapon art is good but thats all it's got going for it really.

Try flails. Also have bleed but is something different to daggers and katanas. And does strike damage so good for rock enemies from the get go.
